Terms & Conditions

Article 1 — Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “T&Cs”) govern all private hire vehicle transport services with chauffeur (VTC) offered by Maison Chevalier Prestige S.A.S. (hereinafter “the Provider”) to its clients (hereinafter “the Client”).

Any booking implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs, which prevail over any other document issued by the Client, unless a written derogation has been signed by the Provider.

Article 2 — Services

The Provider offers the following services:

  • Airport transfers (Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly, Paris-Le Bourget)
  • Hourly or half-day vehicle hire with chauffeur
  • Event transport (Fashion Week, cultural evenings, corporate events)
  • Long-distance and intercity journeys
  • Bespoke services tailored to Client requirements

Article 3 — Pricing

Prices are provided on a quotation basis, depending on vehicle type, service duration, distance and any additional services requested.

Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (TTC), unless otherwise indicated. VAT is applied at the rate in force on the date of invoicing.

The Provider reserves the right to amend its prices at any time. The applicable prices are those in force on the date the booking is confirmed.

Any supplement arising from waiting time exceeding the allocated allowance, route changes or service extensions shall be invoiced in addition, at the prevailing hourly rate.

Article 4 — Booking and Confirmation

Bookings may be made via the online form on the website, by email at [email protected], or by any other means accepted by the Provider.

A booking is only considered firm and final upon written confirmation from the Provider and, where applicable, receipt of the requested deposit.

The Client undertakes to provide accurate and complete information (date, time, pick-up and destination addresses, number of passengers, flight number where applicable).

Article 5 — Cancellation Policy

The Client may cancel a booking under the following terms:

  • More than 48 hours before the service: free cancellation, full refund of any deposit paid.
  • Between 24 and 48 hours before the service: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
  • Less than 24 hours before the service: 100% of the total amount will be charged.
  • No-show: the full amount of the service is due.

In the event of a documented flight cancellation or delay, the Provider undertakes to adapt the service at no additional cost, subject to availability.

Article 6 — Payment Terms

Payment may be made by bank transfer, credit card or any other means accepted by the Provider. A deposit of up to 30% of the total amount may be required upon booking confirmation.

The balance is due upon completion of the service, except for clients holding a corporate account who benefit from deferred invoicing.

Any late payment shall automatically result in the application of interest at the prevailing statutory rate plus three percentage points, together with a fixed recovery indemnity of €40 (Article L.441-10 of the French Commercial Code).

Article 7 — Provider Liability

The Provider undertakes to perform the service with the utmost diligence, in compliance with road safety regulations and the French Transport Code.

The Provider holds professional civil liability and contractual liability insurance covering passenger transport.

The Provider shall not be held liable for any delay or inability to perform arising from force majeure as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including but not limited to: exceptional weather conditions, strikes, demonstrations, traffic accidents or public authority security measures.

In all cases, the Provider’s liability is limited to the amount of the service in question.

Article 8 — Client Obligations

The Client undertakes to:

  • Treat the vehicle with care and return it in the condition in which it was found.
  • Refrain from smoking, consuming pungent food or illicit substances on board the vehicle.
  • Not request that the chauffeur infringe any traffic regulations.
  • Be present at the agreed meeting point at the agreed time.

Any damage caused to the vehicle by the Client or their companions shall be invoiced based on a repair estimate.

Article 9 — Data Protection

Personal data collected in the course of bookings is processed in accordance with the GDPR. For further information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Article 10 — Mediation and Dispute Resolution

In accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumer Clients may freely access a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of any dispute. Contact details for the competent mediator will be provided upon request.

The Client may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 11 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these terms, and failing amicable resolution, the competent courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
